How did the idea of Sitniks first come about?

AS: The first idea to create Sitniks came at the end of 2017 by Alexey Sitnikov, who wanted to create a system for convenient storage of customer data with statistics! Since the first Sitniks prototype was developed at his own expense by Alexey Sitnikov and Artem Sitnikov, the production of the MVP dragged on for a whole year until 2019.
After the first release, work was underway to improve UX / UI, as well as the choice of the final niche in which Sitniks will be used, so the niche of retail social networks and online stores was chosen!

At the end of 2019, a decision was made to switch to new Sitniks Angular JS and Node js implementation technologies, as well as update the system design and combine the crm + chat platform, which became the main competitive advantage among similar solutions in the niche!

What makes Sitnik stand apart from your competitors?

AS: The main competitive advantage is not only that Sitniks is a ready-made solution for retail in social networks and online stores, but also that it can be customized for any request.

What were some of the challenges of gaining your first clients? What were things that attracted customers early on to Sitniks?

AS: The main difficulty in finding the first users was that Sitniks did not have all the functionality that potential users in this niche use and had to quickly refine the system, adapting to the client, so at first it was customary to connect only custom clients (clients with additional settings) since there was no ready-made finalized solution at that time.

Tell us a little about your team structure. Was it personally difficult to start delegating responsibilities as the team has grown?

AS: Delegating processes is not difficult when you are surrounded by a team of specialists who are burning with the idea of ​​making a world-class system in Ukraine! Ambition, professionalism, expertise are the three pillars on which our team rests.

Where do you see Sitniks going from here?

AS: Sitniks received official integration of Instagram and Facebook and became the only system in Ukraine that has these solutions and was the first to combine CRM processes with a chat platform within one system! Sitniks is moving into the development of an application for retail in social networks in the near future the world will see a convenient application that combines everything from all instant messengers to requests from all sources in one application, inside one system in your smartphone!

What's your best advice to someone trying to grow/scale a business?

AS: The main principle that the entire Sitniks team adheres to is to only go forward and never give up! Sitniks experienced a lack of funding, like all startups at the beginning of the journey, and it would seem that everything needs to be abandoned and retreated, but we went further and didn’t break even when a pandemic happened in Ukraine and now we don’t give up when the country is at war!
