Daniel Danker and Laura Jones, Vice Presidents of products and marketing, were elevated by the American grocery delivery juggernaut to the product manager and marketing director positions, respectively. It makes sense for Instacart to organize its C suite as it prepares for a public debut. In that regard, the multi-unicorn also nominated Varouj Chitilian, Vice President of Engineering, for the job of Chief Technology Officer. Former CTO Mark Schaaf departs the business for what Instacart referred to as a "break" in a phone conversation.
The business division of the organization has also changed. Remember that Instacart generates money from various sources, including delivery, a software platform it provides to supermarket chains, and businesses that sell advertising. Additionally, Instacart revealed that it is combining its groceries and advertising operations under the leadership of Chris Rogers, its recently elevated commercial director and former Vice President of retail.

The clock is ticking until Instacart's IPO filing leaves the private label and becomes publicly traded. How soon will that occur? It's unclear. Their standard approaches for determining whether a firm can go public do not work since today's IPO market is more like a blocked window than an open portal.
