Cron, a next-generation calendar for professionals and teams, has been acquired by Notion, a collaboration software firm. Cron, a popular productivity app, was recently crowned Product Hunt Productivity App of the Year. Cron's experience producing attractive products and understanding of how people organize time will be leveraged by Notion in its quest to make software toolmaking universal.
Cron and Notion both have a strong sense of craft and a user community that overlaps. Although Notion's solution is asynchronous, synchronous technologies such as video and messaging are also effective, and time serves as a link between them. Time management is one of the most common uses of Notion among the Notion community. Notion is where you keep your life and work organized, and Cron will be where you keep your day on track.
