On Monday, Spotify released a real-time lyrics function for Google Nest Hub that enables users to listen to music while viewing a stream of the song's words.
The capability was previously accessible on iOS, Android, game consoles, desktop computers, and some smart TV models. Although the music streaming service did not openly disclose it, users have reported seeing real-time lyrics on their Nest Hub devices. A few days ago, users of 9to5Google and Reddit were aware of this launch.
Users of Google Nest Hub must hit the lyrics symbol in the screen's bottom-right corner while choosing a song to access the feature. When lyrics are enabled, they stay enabled until explicitly turned off. Thus changing Spotify tracks won't make lyrics disappear. Lyrics are "Licensed & Provided by MusixMatch," the same supplier as on other platforms, according to Spotify, as tracks come to a close. Real-time lyrics on Spotify were first made available in 2018 and will be available worldwide starting in 2021.
The corporation initially evaluated the functionality in a few niche markets, including South America, Central America, and Asia. However, Spotify finally made the feature available across all territories, devices, and platforms in November 2021.
To increase its user base, Spotify unveiled several new features, such as the song lyrics feature, as part of its mission to establish itself as a venue for creative collaboration between fans and producers.

You have immediate access to its vast online music and podcast catalogue, letting you listen to any of your preferred content whenever you choose. It is simple to use and lawful.
Millions of songs from many genres and artists are available, including obscure indie rock, top 40 pop, movie soundtracks, and classical music. Additionally, it includes a sophisticated algorithm that uses your listening history, curated playlists, and internet radio stations to suggest songs.
There are a ton of podcasts available, so whether you enjoy listening to tech talks or real crime stories, there is something for everyone. In reality, the business is making significant investments in podcast content by acquiring the networks Gimlet Media and Parcast. Even a multi-year, exclusive agreement with the Joe Rogan Experience cost it over $100 million.
The best part is that Spotify is free to use. Although the platform includes a Premium subscription option, you can also use a free, ad-supported version.
