Zoom Video Communications launched Zoom One, a new product that combines persistent chat, phone, meetings, whiteboard, and more into secure and scalable packages. Zoom One represents the most recent version of the company's communications platform. Zoom has introduced a brand-new multilingual and translated captions feature.
Zoom One's user-friendly interface, designed with interoperability in mind, gives customers the option between six tiers of products based on their business requirements.
- Zoom One Basic offers free 40-minute Zoom Meetings for up to 100 participants, with ongoing Zoom Chat for team chat, a constrained Zoom Whiteboard for synchronous and asynchronous collaboration, and real-time transcription.
- Without meeting time restrictions, Zoom One Pro gives all that Zoom One Basic does, plus cloud recording.
- Zoom One Business delivers everything Zoom One Pro does, plus limitless Zoom Whiteboard use and Zoom Meetings for up to 300 participants.
- Everything that Zoom One Business offers is included with Zoom One Business Plus and Zoom Phone Pro's unlimited regional calling and the brand-new translation tool.
- Similar to Zoom One Business, Zoom One Enterprise and Zoom One Enterprise Plus include more meeting space and services like Zoom Webinars to help modern firms scale. Zoom One Enterprise and Enterprise Plus offer an optional add-on feature called Unlimited Regional Calling.
Online shopping is currently possible for the Zoom One Basic, Pro, Business, and Business Plus plans. Customers may directly communicate with an account executive to acquire Zoom One Enterprise or Enterprise Plus.
Translated & multi-language captions
Zoom's translated captions, which will initially be included in the Zoom One Business Plus and Zoom One Enterprise Plus packages, will allow users to watch subtitles in the language of their choice. During the launch, translations from any of the other 10 languages to English or the other way around will be available. A direct translation into and out of English is known as bi-directional translation. Translated captions will be visible at the bottom of the screen when in a Zoom Meeting.
Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian are among the languages offered with bi-directional translations.
Customers of Zoom One must upgrade to either the Zoom One Business Plus or Zoom One Enterprise Plus packages to use the translated captions feature (in applicable countries).
Additionally, Zoom added 10 more languages to its automated captioning service, which can translate what a speaker is saying into a caption that is displayed beside it in real-time. Previously, automated captions could only be presented in English, but now they can be seen in the additional 10 languages mentioned above. Automated captions in many languages are included in the Business Plus, Enterprise, and Enterprise Plus packages, and support for more plans will be added soon.
